Because it is compact, it has a lot of versatility.
For the price, the sound quality is OK. It remains to be seen if it can be fed into a tuner and then into large speakers.

I'll never buy another Bachmann made in China locomotive.
Extremely poorly designed drive system. I bought two and neither will run without the expenditure of many hours to attempt a fix.
