Excellent tips

I used to love using the yellow foamies - until I tried these. Much longer lasting and yet still very isolating. Excellent bass response. And much easier to put in and out. One of these days I may get some custom molds, but until then, these are the ones I use.

Fine for used price

This is a fine unit for what it is. If you need an Ethernet to serial server, it is as good as others. I will be using it as a raw server to multiple 232 devices and accessing from a 3rd party control unit. It's a great way to extend serial control into a room full of serial devices. The GUI is a little dated, but not bad and allowed easy configuration. Given the price I paid (about $50), it is a great deal compared to other current options. On the used units I purchased, I did have to replace the fans - another $20. One was grinding one was totally dead (no spin).

Great bang for the buck

After using this for a week this looks like it will be a good all-around lens. The zoom range will cover most of the pictures I'm after. And the image quality is what my (unprofessional) eye was looking for. There is some distortion / pin-cushioning in the corners as should be expected. I am pleased with the image quality over my previous DX lenses. A definite step up. Given the price these are going for, I definitely recommend it for a good quality general purpose lens.
