A real time saver for the gigging drummer.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I’ve been a working drummer for over forty years. I’m always looking for a way to make set ups and tear downs faster and easier, these DW Quick Release Wing Nuts do exactly that. They are made specifically for DW 9000 and 6000 series hardware. I’ll explain. These wing nuts allow you instantly remove or install them by squeezing them. You can also spin them on or off like a traditional wing nut. This is useful to make them tighter or looser or if someone in the band decides to be helpful. (I know, it doesn’t happen often.) They can be used in the quick release fashion on any 8mm cymbal stand, but DW uses finer threads than other manufacturers, so the they cannot be used in the traditional manner on other brands of stands. I have used other brands of quick release wing nuts in the past, I think that these work better.

A brand new old school product to complete your vintage Gretsch snare drum.
A cool feature on the old Gretsch snare drums was chrome grommet that allowed you to always have your Gretsch drum key at your beck and call. The feature is still available on modern USA built Gretsch snare drums. A lot of drummers assume that it is just another vent hole. The really good news is that The vintage style drum key that fits in said grommet is still being produced and is available from Gretsch. This is that key. It is well made, a tad heavier than most. most importantly it fits in the hole provided for it. I've always thought that it was a great idea, I'm very happy that it is still available.

This is the best place to get replacement logos...
Over the years I've owned a lot of drum sets, many of them have been vintage. I take them apart, polish them up and put them back together. I replace the heads and to make them look as original as possible I like to put a reproduction of the original logo on the bass drum resonant head. It is a nice little touch to make the kit look original. I have bought reproduction logos from various sources, I've found this vendor to be the best. I've attached a photo of a Slingerland kit that used one of their replacement logos on. This will give a representation of how good they look. (And yes, I use the refurbished kits for gigs.)
