A return to the franchise's strengths.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I was one of the minority (it seems) who liked Prometheus, though I accept that it was different to all the other films in the Alien franchise. Those of you who thought Prometheus lacked acid-blooded, salivating killing machines will be much happier with this film. The film develops the story arc begun in Prometheus really well, and it has strong characterisation throughout. The various creatures are effectively realised to show an evolutionary process leading up to the critters we all love to scare us. My one slight criticism is that there is more gore and less suspense in this film than the other Ridley Scott films in the franchise: what Scott does so well in the original Alien film is rack up the tension and this is somewhat lacking here. Nevertheless, this film is well worth a viewing.
