Waste of space
I'm getting older now and was looking for something that would help me find the eye of the needle. Pass this one by, it's cheaply made and doesn't get the job done.

Better than the 5" version
This gauge is better than the 5" version that came with my needle set. It is longer, making it more useful for measuring swatches, etc., and has gauge holes for far more needle/hook sizes. Chiaogoo needles are engraved with the needle sizes, but those can be difficult to read on the small sizes, and it is much faster (for these old eyes, anyway) just to size them with the gauge. Naturally, you can also size other brands of needles from manufacturers that can't be bothered to mark them. I use this constantly.

It's ChaioGoo! What more needs to be said?
I am a big fan of all ChiaoGoo Red Lace Needles, be they fixed circulars or interchangeable sets. I always have several projects at once on the needles, so I have multiples of my most common tip sizes. These adapters offer some nice versatility when I'm scrambling around trying to find this or that cable length, only to discover that it's already in use as a stitch holder keeping the sleeves of (yet another) UFO in place until I get back to them. (I really am going to finish that sweater for my son one of these days. Really.) I would highly recommend any ChiaoGoo red lace product without reservation. Now I just need a needle case to keep my fixed circulars tidy and I'll be all set.
