Nice Meteorite "go-with"
Great idea ... nice novelty "go-with" for meteorite collectors or rock collectors in general ... the dust and metal fragments are taken from meteorites that are among the oldest known "rocks" in the solar system ...

Very nice set - good detective work
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich This is a difficult set to put together without having multiple sheets of stamps to compare ... the added description for each stamp is exceptionally helpful ... very nice set to add to a Christmas stamp collection (also would recommend the 1384a precancels)

Great UV lamp for tagged stamp identification
Tried a number of less expensive UV lights with little success. Turned on this one and the stamps lit up!
Pros: lightweight, large-swath SW lamp
Cons: difficult to see which way to put batteries in, but not a big negative
the switch between long and short wave is easy to leave on becaue the light is not visible unless illuminating a phosphorescent surface, so get used to purposely checking to make sure it is off before storing.
Overall I love this lamp ... it's opened up a whole new world for me to look at all of teh tagged stamps that have been in the collection for years.
Oh - one more item that seasoned users will know about - it won't illuminate stamps that are inside of showgard type mounts ... you'll need to remove them. I have figured out a way to display some of the early tagged stamp using a half-mount so they can be illuminated in the album.
Great addition to the stamp collecting toolbox ...
