Easy to use
Easy to insert and remove plugs from the socket, unlike some out there which are way too stiff.

This gel is excellent combined with a slug protection collar, as it stops the slugs climbing up and over the lip of the collar, and the collar protects the gel from the rain. Rain splashing up will eventually wash it off, but the seedlings should be stronger by then, or the gel can always be reapplied.

Can use your own cable
The big plus with this drive is you can use your own USB cable, so it can be situated further from your laptop than the ones with a fixed cable, which is usually only 15-20cm long.
Otherwise it functions perfectly fine - once the dvd is going, it runs quietly enough and doesn't disturb a movie.
