AGM Rattler TS25-384 Compact Short Medium Range Thermal Imaging Riflescope

AGM Rattler.... I like it....I like it a LOT!

Great performance for an entry level thermal weaponsight. Having both a Armasight 320 Apollo clip-on as well as the FLIR PTS-233, I can say that I am definitely impressed with this scope. Good: - Ability to capture internal still pictures and video (though manually vs. FLIR's recoil activated) - Menu is intuitive and easy to sight in. - Decent battery life and ability to set the input voltage down to utilize rechargeable Lithium batteries! - Clean crisp resolution and image contrast. - Adjustable/focusable objective Len - Ability through the USB port to run the unit with a portable USB battery bank with standard USB cables. Issues: - Takes much longer than my other thermals to boot up. probably about 30 secs. - The reticle reverts to white regardless of what color it was set at prior to turning off. The menu indicates the correct color but it's always boots up with the white crosshair until you manually change it again. Probably just a software update at some point to fix. - Either the display or the sensor has about 8 bad pixels that you can see during startup but then disappears during the boot-up and initial auto-NUC. Overall definitely worth the money if you are looking to get into the Thermal game.

Light and solid mount that allows me to put a torch a little further out on my 6" lenght forward handguard. Very solid mount for being polymer based.
