Anima 2nd edition card game review

This is a competitive quest completing game for 2 to 5 players it has the regular anima art style actually you might see some borrowed art assets from to rpg game and miniature game which isn't that bad it all a mater of opinion art styles do vary from card to card. the game works by players making parties of 4 characters gaining abilities all to complete a set of quests with a final global quest for everyone first one to finish it wins. the first and second editions are identical except for the final quest turn timer and a d10 to track this turn timer and the card stock is better. I bought this after the i had two expansions of it personally I bought it for a collection I'd recommend the second expansion beyond good and evil over this version because of the better balance and the addition of arcane characters cards. If you like that anima card game then this game would be for you. You can then mix and match the decks to create a game you like with the rest of the expansions (you can't mix the 1st edition version of shadow of omega only the 2nd print of the game). also i recommend using the optional rules for the areas it makes the game quests a lot less random.

this is a great part of my figma collection although I think the stands tend to break a lot and saber ver 2.0 of the figma line has better pose ability compared to this version of saber some of the poses on the box tend to be difficult to set up but alltogether it is a good for figma's old line of figures
