New Metal Desoldering Pump Sucker Solder Irons Removal Remover Tool Blue Silver

Inexpensive desoldering pump.

I don't do a lot of solder work, so I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on one of these pumps. When it arrived, the first thing I noticed was how light this thing is. I expected a little bit more weight. Most of the unit is plastic. The main cylinder is some sort of pot metal. The overall quality is about what I expected for the price I paid. The parts thread together ok, but the piston rod fit is a little loose. The only issue I have with the tool, is that the pin that pushes into the nozzle doesn't always line up due to the 'fit' of the piston piece. Moving the button around when pushing it down usually lets it drop in. If you do a large amount of solder work, this tool might be ok, at best. For the hobbyist like me it is a great value. Bottom line..it's inexpensive, and it works decently.

Great all around product!

This is my second batch of the Chavant NSP medium brown clay. I was very happy with it, and needed more. This is my first experience with sculpting, and this clay has made things easier. It is easy to work with and holds detail well. I've worked with it at room temp, and also warmed with a lamp. Either way, it is very smooth and molds nicely. I can't speak for more skilled sculptors, but for me this is a great product!
