Can't beat it for the price.

I don't have an SM57 to compare it to, but it gets the job done. I use it in front of a guitar amp to send a signal to the board. The included cable is a nice perk, but they should have made it with XLR's on both ends. (it's a 2-conductor cable, not a 3-conductor mic cable.) I cut it in two and put 1/4" plugs on the ends.
