Great replacement for battery slices, adds less bulk to your pack and no weight to the laptops
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I purchased a 6 cell power companion to see if it could charge my Dell Precision 7510. To my delight it certainly could, and adds about 20% to the battery charge while the laptop is running. I'm using it with a high end model with the 4k screen and 64 GB RAM, so you may get even better results on other configurations. The 65W output is the minimum that my laptop accepts, the 4 cell power companion only supplies 45W so it can't be used while the laptop is running, but it works to charge when it is off or sleeping.

Powerful portable powerhouse
I bought it because it was sold at half the retail price, but it came with 8GB of RAM and a Bluray burner as well as a quad core i7 and a 500GB hard drive. I upgraded the wifi to the Intel 6300 from the Intel 6200 and added bluetooth, but really the system was screaming fast out of the box with Windows 7 x64. With the additional accessories I picked up (all on eBay) I paid about half the $4000 retail price of the system from Dell for all new parts and a lightly used laptop.
I've been using it for virtualization and 1080p video playback. It works wonderfully and streams quite well with a wifi N access point. The battery life is great with the 9 cell and when I added a 12 cell battery slice it goes for another couple hours depending on the usage.

Extremely easy to install, newer design ...
Extremely easy to install, newer design keeps wheels firmly locked in place so they won't work themselves loose over time and fall off during rough transit.
