1971 Topps Super SAM MCDOWELL #16 - VG+

A very good photo taken during a pitcher’s twenty win season.

A wonderful picture of Sam McDowell at Yankee Stadium in 1970. Good photography as McDowell appears to be close to the camera. This allows him to occupy the entire frame while providing a detailed and sharp view of the Tribe’s road uniform. The only drawback is the card’s backing was not completely centered when being affixed to the card.

A nice depiction of a gritty and underrated player.

The overall condition of this card is very good and its plastic sleeve serves to protect the card accordingly. The front side of the card displays two identifiable players and the card’s colors are clear and sharp.
