Miles Davis - Aura CD 1989
This album is a superb example of the 'Jazz Fusion' that Miles Davies made his own style in his later carrer years of the 1980's. Each track is titled after a colour which Davis has managed to examplyfy in sound, for example 'blue' and 'electric red'. Davis has chosen fellow musicians who are at the top of their tree, John McLoughlin- guitar, Niels Henning - Bass. If you are looking for that muted horn sound that conjures a feeling of a foggy New York night but injected with electric funk jazz Aura' is an album for you!
