Excellent for the money

Weak motor
I only tried the opener on one bottle of wine, but it was not a good result. I put in brand new AA Energizer batteries, but the the first time I used it the motor wouldn't pull the cork all the way out. I had to use pliers to get the last inch or so out of the wine bottle. I have had other (brand name) openers which have a rechargable battery, but I wanted to get a AA battery-powered opener like this one for travel so that I didn't have to mess with carrying my charging unit everywhere. I was worried that it might not be strong enough, and it looks like I was right. I will toss this in the trash and go buy a brand-name rechargable bottle opener. Lesson learned.
