Beautiful sculpting
The moulding on these resin 1/16 miniatures are really nice,no air bubbles and minimal,tiny bit of flash to clean up.They are perfect for adding stowage to 1/16 tanks and look the part.
The details are crisp showing buckles,rope and straps with texture on fabric and rope.
Wash them thoroughly,Prime them with a light dusting,then some basic brush painting,add a wash followed by dry brushing with acrylics -they come to life. Finish with a Matt spray varnish.
The only reason I've given them 4 stars is the cost,that's all.
Also it's a large pack,maybe I should have purchased a smaller pack if they exist so quite a bit has gone in my spares box.
There was also slight damage probably in transit,with one of the end sides to wooden box broken (4th picture)
Would I recommend these?

Basic old polish gas mask sold with ms4 filter that contains NO asbestos! Arrived in great time and well packaged.rubber of gas mask comes covered in a grey coating that is best removed by rubbing with a sponge in some hot soapy water..it can take some removing. Mask is basic but well made.its perfect for me,it's purely to add for a display.so if you want a cheap mask,can't go wrong.. suppose you could use it for spray painting if you wanted .

Safer Filter NO asbestos
The FP-5 filter canister was developed for the MP-5, which replaced communist-era masks in Polish military service. The adoption of this NATO STANAG 4155 filter canister came within a few years of Poland's accession to the military alliance.
Taken from gasmask fandom.
These don't fit Soviet filters and are NoT normalised. P5 fit Soviet gost threads,but not these..unless you are lucky.
They are great for other gas masks and although they are expired,they 'may' provide some protection against smoke and dust and chemical aerosol mists but maybe not biological agents.
They are safer,but caution should be exercised if you intend on using any filter.
Check filter isn't dented,damaged or cracked Check there are no specs or black particles in the top..shake it over paper to see ....
I've had no problems with these,they are great filters and the seller is prompt and filters packaged well.
If you are still concerned about safety,buy a modern Scott filter ,but the FP5 filter is very good and is the best choice for cheap expired filters for your gas mask .
Again,might not fit Soviet masks,they weren't designed for them..
