Detailing needed for realistic model
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The conning tower and superstructure decking pieces were excellent. The side plating pieces great also, but aligning all the pieces with each other and the existing model parts was nearly impossible. Using deck plates, holes for deck stanchions could not be aligned perfectly, which required modifications to place stanchions properly. This set is excellent, but requires VERY advanced modelling skills to get it all in place. Don't try if you are new to modelling, or unless you have jewelers' skills.

Not perfect, but will deliver desired results
Unit is pristine in appearance and flash seems to work well. Only flaw is that the catchlight card that pops up will not stay up. It can be opened easily, but does not stay in place. Tried to bend the card a bit to create some friction to keep it in place, but no dice. Fortunately, I do not plan to use this feature as I have a large plastic dome to attach to the flash for diffused direct lighting.
