Not as described.
Purchased a lower linkage. It appeared to be in good condition based on the available photos, and the bearings were described as being in “good shape,” they were not.
One set of bearings were so badly rusted, that the bearings, bearing caps and bearing sleeve were completely fused. All of these parts had to be removed as a single unit.
A second set of bearings’ end caps were seized to the bearing sleeve. This required a bearing cap be ground down, and removed in pieces in order to remove the bearing sleeve and the bearings.
It took a considerable amount of time, heat, grinding, penetrating oil, luck and frustration to remove the damaged parts. Ultimately, I was able to salvage the linkage.
I don’t mind putting in the extra work, and I was able to use the part. However, this item was certainly not in “good shape,” as the description and price implied.
