I gauge Vernier Calipers
Appears to be a quality instrument. As I’m a hobbyist I can’t afford top shelf English or American measuring equipment. This unit appears (at this time) to be a durable and accurate instrument.

Schrade Old Timer - American Legend
Good quality even though it's a Chinese copy of an American legend

Schrade Old Timer 80T
As an owner of the original US made Schrade knife the difference between it and the Chinese made one is noticeable. This is mainly in the finish as the rivets are left proud and not countersunk into the "bone" handle slabs and then filed flush. The corners of the blade (when closed) are also left angular and sharp. Obviously these factors don't affect the functionality of the knife but they do cheapen it in comparison to the original product.
