Fair substitute
Overall, it works about as well as a genuine Foredom, however the one that I received would not plug into the flexshaft because the hole was a few thousands too small. Luckily it was a close enough copy that I was able to use the connecter base from the original in place of the defective part.

Utilitarian accuracy
Didn't power up right away, I had to correct battery mount just to get it to turn on. Left side vs right side has a variance of 1 degree. Solid construction for basic day to day jobs but not very good at all if you need any measure of precision.

Worthless piece of JUNK!
Extremely inconsistent and will not even register when weight is added incrementally. I put the same bowl of peppers on ten times and got 10 different readings anywhere from 32 ounces to 48 ounces. A big FAIL on this one.
