Not for a first-timer - no instructions
The circuit board looks a bit different than the one in the picture. Lucky for me the silkscreen on the board is crisp and clear which told me where to put the various components. Had to google how to determine + and - on condenser microphone and add some of my own wire as the mic had no pins. Not a kit for someone just starting out. Small board - 1" x 2". Not sure where to attach the antenna. Not sure how to use it now that I have it completed. Took me about 1.5 hours - my 2nd hobby kit. I am still glad I bought it. At this price, it's worth the risk.

Works better than original NiCad cell
Different battery chemistry means my screwdriver lasts much longer and there is no memory effect with the cell. As a result, I get a much better experience with my screwdriver. A+++

Robust cells
Used these cells to replace NiCad cells in a portable vacuum - they work great and now the vacuum lasts much longer. The existing charger has no problem charging the different chemistry - no over or undercharging. A+++
