A good way to save a few bucks
I'm pretty sure the people you'll find online complaining about it being loose or falling off simply aren't attaching it correctly or are trying to use it with the wrong lens. Turn it until it clicks into place and it definitely isn't going anywhere. I don't know how this compares to the official Nikon brand one but it does the job just fine and looks the part sporting a similar speckled paint-job to the lens, all for less than half of what the branded one would have cost.

sub-par pressing quality
Mine was a poor pressing, the sound quality of the music itself was actually fine however there was a lot of surface noise and repeated clicking for almost the entirety of side A. I cleaned the record to no avail. If you don't care about sound and just want it as a display piece, it'll be fine, the yellow does look cool. If you want it for listening, I'd avoid it.
