This inexpensive guitar came out of the box ready to play after tuning. It's intonation is spot on all the way up the neck, the action is smooth. It stays in tune even overnight. It feels excellent while playing. The sound is good across the spectrum and projects well. It's wood is beautiful. I am amazed at how nice this instrument is. This Jasmine is truly an excellent value, not just for a beginner, but for an experienced guitarist looking for that handy, everyday instrument to grab and noodle around with. It allows you to concentrate on what you wish to play and not what you are playing it on.
