A labour of love.

The CD is one man's view of early jazz recordings, and of course there were many thousands to choose from. This is Parker's selection, it is a labour of love and distills the skills and spirit of those artists who particularly appealed to him. I found I could listen to it time after time without tiring of it and that I think is the secret of this compilation, that it is music to be loved and shared. Thanks you so much Robert for the enjoyment your transcriptions of these artists from the aged, often noisy grooves. Your expertise in getting the best sound from those shellac grooves has so enriched my musical enjoyment.

Good value items

The caps fit well into both the camera body and the lens. They are smoothly finished without any rough spots. I can recommend them

Phono Preamp Pre Amp Amplifier Preamplifier with Aux 2 inputs and Volume Control

Well made and functional little preamp

I bought this phono preamp partly because of the volume control but in fact was a little disappointed that it did not boost the input signal from my turntable and seemed to have less volume than the inbuilt phono preamp of the Technics class AA amplifier I was using via the aux input. Other than the above point, it was well made and worked well with a clear sound input to the amplifier.
