Best TV Series EVER! You will come to mourn that you didn't own it sooner!
I bought this set, my 4th as a gift for my brother. I didn't discover Firefly until 2 yrs ago, but I am a fanatic about it now. I am not a sci-fi lover, it's okay, but I'm a far cry from a Trekkie. I LOVE this series. In fact, if I could only own one TV series on DVD, it would be Firefly. I've purchased a set for ourselves after initially borrowing it from a friend, a set for our nephew, a set for my step-father (but my mom thought it was for her so she opened it and LOVED it). The characters are quirky, hilarious, endearing, lovable, and adventurous. The first couple of episodes didn't hook me, but by the fourth or fifth I was a BROWNCOAT (watch and you'll understand). The re-watchability factor on this serious is sky-high. I could watch it every day and not tire of it. I instantly found myself heartbroken that this series was canceled and begged for more. Now I watch Castle and Chuck to see Mal and Jayne, it's not the same, but the actors' love for this series is quite evident by the huge number of Firefly references in both shows. Hop onboard the Serenity and you'll be a Browncoat in no time at all.
