You'll only need one,,,, forever.
Simple and since it is easy to replace elastic, it should last a lifetime. Well built of real leather. Design is as old as the hills.

sweet spot
Very good design/shape and size. Good size for belt sheath also. Deep enough to not fall out. 440a blade steel just OK. But this is what I was looking for. Something that would hold a decent edge and not take a major project to re-sharpen because the steel is so hard/durable. It's a two way street. Some of the more expensive steels hold an edge better but are just too damm hard to rework in the field, I have many knives, but with a small additional stone in the pack for touch ups, this one will probably become my go-to big game knife. Just hits that sweet spot for usefulness. Camping, hunting, survival.
