Genalex 6v6

The amp is a handwired 20 watt Tencount TC 20. Boutique maker in NC. Its a Vox/Marshall so to speak but to me more Marshall. The amp can also run el84's which are more Marshall in tone. I wanted more headroom and less drive so I got the Genalex Golden Lion 6v6. I'd had GL el84' s before in a Budda SD 30 and loved them! No disappoint here in the 6v6. I'm just getting them burned in and expect them to be even smoother. The speaker is a Scumback m75 in a Ken Jones 1x12(Germino, Oldfield cabinet maker). Bedroom tone has plenty of headroom and slight chime. I use a pot drive tone with maximum cut and with the master volume I run the channel high volume at 6-. treble at 9 bass at 7. I just put in a matching GL rec tube(GZ34) Preamp tubes all JJ's. Oozes tone!

Good gloves!

Several years ago I got tired of battling sweaty hands and loss of club control in the hot humid summer climate where I live. We are also prone to late afternoon storms. I began using one rain glove on one hand on the other my trusted Footjoy WeatherSoft gloves.
