If this is the part you need ... then this is it
You either need this part or you don't ... and if you do, get it. It's a little pricey for a simple bolt, but it is the correct one.

Perfect fit
These are really quite easy to replace - provided you take your time (I find working with small parts to be a challenge at times). In the Springfield XDm, each rod provides two replacements - so you need to cut each rod in two. I use a Dremel tool with a fine rotary cutting disk, but you can use a single edge razor blade or utility knife - but be careful.
Then you use the butane lighter method to lock the rod in place in the front sight base. There are several YouTube videos for this. The trick is to use the side of the flame - close, but not touching - and let the heat curl up the end until the sight is snug.
You have the option to get whatever colors you want. My understanding is that most people like green the best - although the yellow (which is really a yellow/green) works well for me.

An excellent option
This is my 2nd Comp-Tac (the first was for a Springfield XDm). For a sturdy OWB, I think these are very good. They hold the firearm securely while allowing for a smooth draw. I haven't tried all of the modular hardware, but it appears it should give you any option you'd want concerning positioning and cant.
I shoot with the factory open sights, but based on the openness of the design, it looks as if most optics you might want to use should clear without issue.
