Hot and great tasting coffee for half the day
This our 5th Cuisinart 12 cup coffee maker. Love the thermo carafe which keeps coffee hot all morning. The heating tube/coil is prone to hard water deposits and we need to run vinegar thru ours every few months. This takes a toll on the aluminum and the tubing leaks after a 3-4 year period. We have also had the electronic controls fail but that has been our fault. If the carafe isn't placed correctly or the basket is crooked, the coffee overflows and gets the controls wet.
Haven't found a similar sized unit with the thermo carafe so we keep buying this one
