Excellent every day writer Ballpoint.
I am an avid pen collector. I have been using a Sailor Fountain pen (also really nice), so decided to try the Ballpoint. This Sailor 1911 Large Ballpoint Pen- Black Gold Trim, is one of the nicest Ballpoint pens, I have in my large collection. It quickly has become my favorite, every day writer pen.
It is classic looking, without being overdone, and also very comfortable to write with. It is a little on the large side, but not too large. And the Sailor Ballpoint refills write exceptionally nicely. In my opinion, the look, and smoothness of the Sailor Ballpoint refills (I have used both fine blue and black) is better than anything out there, including MontBlanc. And the price for the Sailor pen and refills can't be beat. You won't go wrong with this.
