you get what you pay for
This is a budget component. If cost is your primary consideration, them this freewheel works & performs well in comparison with the well known brand. The saving on purchase cost is off set by some shortfalls; namely it it has a noisy clutch and it has low corrosion resistance. If you fit this freewheel to your bike, you will need to keep the unit protected from the elements. This screw-on block rusts quickly. As for performance, the chain meshes with the gear teeth smoothly & without excessive noise. Provided that this block is kept under cover at night & is kept well oiled it should provide several hundred miles service on your bike. The more expensive well-known block appears to be case hardened steel, this one does not appear to be.
