Depends on what you need
If you need only the gaskets, jets and float needle/seat, it's an OK kit. The emulsion tube is a different matter. It leaked, and when I tried to tighten it, the tangs that form the screwdriver slot broke off. The jammed the tube in the carb bottom so tightly that I broke off a small easy out trying to get it out. Game over. Wound up having to get another carb bottom. And I chose to get a OEM carb kit, which, for $10 is what I'll do from now on. Save $10, spend $75 to fix my SNAFU.

Not comprehensive, but entertaining, at the right price
You can't have too much information when taking on such a project, so in that sense, this is a useful book. However, don't think that this alone will serve. The author agrees that you will also need the factory service manual, and in his recommendation, the Haynes book. I would recommend the factory service manual for both the T150/160 and the A75 book. In my view, the A75 book should come before the Haynes.
The real draw of the book, is the author's candid telling of the many pitfalls he ran into in his projects. Not only does this point out the traps, but it re-enforces the old adage, "to err is human". I also found it interesting to read of someone purchasing a bike on e-bay. It seems to confirm my expectations of what that would be like. Caveat emptor.

Indispensible Tool
Makes perfect crimps with JST type connectors, probably other types where the legs of the connector are rolled into the wire. Used a Molex tool for many years, which was too big for JST. I could get a decent crimp with it after a few attempts and rejected connectors. This works every time. Not always true on eBay, but I was able to find the best price. Perfect tool if you're a Maker
It seems well made, the handle is comfortable, and I like the latch/spring setup. If I had my druthers, I'd like a wire cutter at the pivot end of the jaws. Sometimes when you make a connection, you realize that the stripped length is too much. Things would go quicker if you could just trim the wire without switching tools. That said, it's a high quality tool, with legible markings, and no slop at the pivot, yet very smooth acting.
