Easy way to control a heater/boiler
The switch allows connection to the MAX! ELV/eQ-3 cube. It works in both automatic and manual modes. For the cube the switch appears as a radiator thermostat.
In the automatic mode a temperature schedule can be set up in order to switch on and off seven days a week. Per day you can specify up to 13 switching points. The set-temperature 25 C turns the switch on. The set-temperature 16 C puts it off.
In the manual mode the set-temperature turns it on/off the same way.
Contradictory to the documentation you need no have a wall mounted thermostat in the same room it works fine without it. It is an ideal solution if you have to turn a heater on or off using a home automation system. The official software does not allow this, but there is plenty freeware solutions that do.
Note that the switch is out of production. Buy it while you can.
