It works fine if tou don't want to pair it up with another tivo. Like for an owner who only wants one!
It works, connected with Tivo the 1st time and has stayed connected.
The only thing is it won't connect to my other TiVo. I called them and they won't connect it because they need a statement from the previous owner releasing it to me. But it's an inconvenience I'll have to put up with!
