The Ev s-40 is an outstanding little monitor, nicely balanced sound.
I would recommend the S-40 to anyone for nearfield monitoring application, even in multiples in a commercial application.
It packs a lot of punch for a monitor of this size.
It has surprisingly good bass response from its 6" woofer.
The sound is well balanced and constructed to last.

Sounds every bit as vibrant as they did back in the day.

The sound quality of the disk is very good and certainly not lacking in top end clarity or bass, as some greatest albums do.
