A Master Recording
The sound on this CD is wonderful. 18 months of work on the Columbia materials, removing ticks and rebalancing certainly paid off. This Jasmine version is the superior version...and I've owned the 80s/90s CD reissue from Columbia as well as the circa 2001 reissue on which this one is based (I'm doing this from memory...cut me some slack). Sometimes 'remastering' is just a bunch of filters applied indiscriminately but THIS IS AWESOME. Get it.
