AD The Bible Continues

OKC Kukri
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich This is a field ready Kukri made of all the good stuff. 1095 steel, Kraton handle, 12" long and 1/4" thick blade and the sheath is decent. I would have preferred a Kydex sheath but of course that costs more. As with the Marine Raider Bowie I bought from them, it needed sharpening. Once sharpened it is a very effective field knife fit for all sorts of tasks.
Hand honing the Kukri was an interesting project. I used Smith's natural bench stones, med.,fine, extra fine on the surface from 5" up from the handle to the point. Then the area from the handle 5" forward of the handle or close to it, I used a Lansky crock stick sharpener since the angle is quite a bit more and requires a round sharpening stone rather than a flat stone to contact the edge where it needed sharpening. The Lansky 9" med. & fine crock stick at 25 degrees did fine. For those who live in snake infested country this knife would be a lot of comfort, since it wouldn't take very much effort lopping off their little heads! The knife is an outstanding value!

0 von 1 finden das hilfreich Bought the movie to see Jack Nicholson in a movie I hadn't seen before. Thought it might be funny. It was quirky from the start and weird and sad though out lots of it. One of those movies I wished I had never seen. Only good thing was I bought it for under $5.00 including shipping so didn't waste much money on it.
