The best single-CD Satie
Satie is the only composer whose works I collect as rendered by different performers. Among all of those that I have collected, this is definitely my favorite one-CD compilation. To hear less-known works, there is a five-CD set by Aldo Ciccolini, but to enjoy the principal works, this CD is the best.

A convenient research tool.
While more and more old books are available online for free, having a printed version is much more enjoyable and useful as a research tool. I appreciate that this publisher is making them available. I like the size of the book, the paper stock, the cover, and the judicious use of different font sizes for different contents. For example, smaller fonts for lists and notes allow for a smaller, more manageable publication. This rendition uses a serif font. The text is dark and well-spaced for ease of reading.

Legible but images faint
If you want this publication for quality images, I don't recommend it. If you want it for the text, you might first check online for the contents available without charge. The text was clear to read, but the images were faint.
