Exactly what I wanted, but item condition was appalling
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I have no problems at all with the quality of Will & Grace. 5 stars. I love the show as does my Mum, who I bought this box set for, for Christmas. I wanted this particular black and pink box set, and it's classy, has bonus material and smaller than the other W&G box set, so I was quite happy to see it on musicmagpie for a very reasonable £30.
Ordered & paid for on the same day, but it didn't arrive until 4 days after the estimated arrival time. No big deal, it's for Christmas and I ordered it well in advance.
However, although I understand that musicmagpie is for second-hand items, the description was that the item condition was 'very good', which ebay classify as "no damage to the case item or cover...the teeth of the disc holder is undamaged...minimal wear on the exterior of item" This was certainly not the case when I opened the item. The top left-hand side of the box has been severely damaged and ripped away from the seam of the box, exposing the white cardboard ripped underneath, and the flap of the 'door' that opens to reveal the DVD's is loose and has come completely away, so now it is up to me to fix these issues, as I don't want to return this, I want to give it to my Mum for Christmas! All of the DVD cases were also all completely out of order, lots of the teeth that hold the DVD's in their cases are broken away so don't hold them properly, and there are tonnes of scratches on the DVD's, but I think that hopefully this shouldn't be an issue, as I've tested quite a few now and they all seem to work without skipping.
I am not completely dissatisfied with this as it's a classy product for what I still feel is good value, but reading back the listing, this does not meet what is listed, horrendously so. Perhaps the "meticulous quality checks" need to be revised.
