Easy to use, easy to clean.
5 von 5 finden das hilfreich Still a little early to judge. It isn't entirely smokeless of course, but it doesn't set off the smoke detectors. I still need to learn to adjust cooking times relative to the instructions, particularly on steaks and chops - that will come with time and experience. Some reviews have complained about slow preheat, but that has not been an issue - it is usually ready before I am. It is easy to use and it cleans up easily also, other than it is rather large for my standard sink. But that was my choice. Having everything come apart easily is a plus for getting the grill cleaned properly. All in all, I am quite happy so far.

Something to think about
I wrote a long intense review awhile ago and somehow it got lost in the ether before it posted. I couldn't go through that again. Basically this film struck me very deeply and I can't explain why. A lot of it is pretty unbelievable but not as much as most of the schlock out there today. A fun movie with a lot of points to make you think. One to rewatch periodically - i have twice already.

Great Thermal Coffee Maker
We've had the built-in grinder version of this pot previously. This coffee maker brews similarly. The thermal pot keeps coffee hot for the two plus hours that we drink coffee in the morning, but how long it will keep it that way is unknown; and this is without preheating the pot as recommended. No burnt tasting coffee for having the pot sit on a heating element for hours. The light indicating time to clean the brewing system is an interesting new feature for us and we are looking forward to seeing how that works. Our main complaint is the design of the permanent filter basket in this model. It is cone-shaped with a solid strip of plastic at the bottom which makes it difficult to rinse the last of the grounds out before a wash. Use of disposable filters would alleviate this problem but that is an added expense we have avoided in the past with previous models with permanent filters, and how available these cone-shaped filters are is another open question should we attempt that option. On the whole though, we are thoroughly pleased with this coffee maker. Highly recommended.
