I make sure that I bubble wrap all dolls and then secure them with packing paper so I'm not sure what happened. This is the first time that I have had an issue since selling my moms' estate of over 700 Barbies. Again, I am sorry that you were not as pleased with your purchase as I would have liked.

Works exactly as it's engineered to work
After installation the ratchet works like new because you've essentially replace all the parts that were worn.

Outstanding quality
Just as you would expect from Iomega, the quality, fit and finish of this case is above par. Besides having two FireWire and three USB ports which none of the other external hard drive enclosures have, it is of excellent build quality with actually cast aluminum sides. No sound, no vibration, it just does what it's supposed to do and looks good doing it. For the price you can't cannot go wrong. This can be used with both Windows and Mac machines.
