Don't Waste Your Time
This book is poorly written, poorly edited, poorly researched, poorly cited, and poorly laid out. Instead of spending so much time knocking CROW KILLER by Thorp and Bunker (which everyone KNOWS is mostly fictional and not meant to be a serious biography), the author should have spent more time researching his subject, editing his writing, and proofreading before self-publishing it. Even the citations are poorly written, with many references that are apparently made up and not at all real sources. Others are erroneous or lacking in detail. Many of the incidents are totally unverifiable via other sources. Luckily, the one saving grace for this book is its subject--that is, the life of the real Liver-Eating Johnston. He's compelling enough to make you drag yourself along. But in the end, I wouldn't waste my money on this one. The author should be ashamed of such a shoddy presentation and poor workmanship. A high-school student could have done a better job.

Best Little Routers I've Owned

Right after installing these three Deco M5 routers, I'm getting solid three bars throughout the house, and we're a three-level, 2,500 SF home. Simple to set up in 15 minutes or so. The easiest router I've ever used. Very small and inconspicuous. Highly recommended to anyone looking to increase wi-fi coverage without all the hassle of setting up and maintaining other routers. No more signal interruptions and long, frustrating calls to the manufacturer to try to figure out why their routers went down on me, either! (Are you listening, ASUS???)

This Stone Rocks!
Sharpening stones with a wooden handle are hard to find these days. I bought this to replace one I had for years and couldn't be happier! Even higher build quality than my original. I used it to hone a classic Bowie knife every bit as sharp as the one Calamity Jane carried with her. I thought I'd never find a stone that works as well as this one and feels comfortable in the hand. And the wooden handle provides a measure of safety missing from most other stones. Highly recommended!
