Corporal James Richard "Jim" Brink (1944-1966), USMC, enlisted in the US Marine Corps in July 1965. He is a June 1962 graduate of Charles Baker High School, Baldwinsville, New York. Jim's parents moved to California from their New York State homes about the time of his high school graduation. He thereafter attended Sacremento City College. Jim is a Vietnam War Combat Veteran assigned to Company F, 2nd Battalion, 9th Marines, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Amphibious Force. He was Killed-In-Action on 14 Dec 1966, fatally injured by rifle fire from an opposing enemy force while serving in Thừa Thiên-Huế, Republic of Vietnam (South Vietnam). His military awards include: the Purple Heart, the National Defense Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. Jim was posthumously awarded the New York State Conspicuous Service Cross. His remains were interred with full military honors Sierra Hills Memorial Park, Sacramento, CA on 27 Dec 1966. A Cheap Deal on a Cheap Product.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Strings R cheap, G-string broke on 3rd use. String connectivity at bridge is awful, but similar to many Uke in the $$ range. This is an inexpensive starter deal perhaps in the Yugo-class, so one should not expect a BMW.
