Omnidirectional Bluetooth mics are hard to come by so I like that Alead has filled that niche
I would say this is primarily an enterprise product, not a consumer product. To me it seems most appropriate for live events such as lectures, classes, webinars, conferences, etc. Omnidirectional Bluetooth mics that don't block out background noise are hard to come by so I like that Alead has filled that niche. This is needed if the mic has any hope of picking up comments from audience/class members. Granted it's not the most sensitive mic but I suppose that's why it's not super expensive. The company is also very responsive. They have other products with more bells and whistles but the BTMIC2 is minimalistic which makes it very easy to use.
The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is I think the firmware could be improved for better connectivity. Also I wish the charge port was on the bottom instead of the top. But the fact it can be used while charging means you can plug in a portable power bank and it'll keep streaming audio all day.
