Little, Clean, Punchy and good lookin'!
6 von 6 finden das hilfreich I am amazed. Sub Arrived quickly from Monoprice. I have read many negatives about this little guy, however I cannot find any issues in the first hour of use. Here are the facts.
I own a pioneer AV Receiver, so it of course has a dedicated Sub pre-out like most do.
1. Opened the box (very clean wood smell, black and could still slightly smell the stain. elegant finish)
2. Took the plastic off after the foam inserts. VERY well packaged directly from the manufacturer
3. Plugged in the power, plugged in the y-cable I bought separately to the back of the unit, then to my receiver.
4. Set the volume on 50% same with the crossover knob. it goes from 50HZ to 150HZ and it's around 75-80HZ in the middle.
5. Set my crossover at 100HZ on the receiver and volume for the sub (the receiver's volume) at 0dB
6. I turned on some EDM from Juicy M in just stereo mode (no surround just 2.1)
7. BLOWN AWAY!!
The low's are clean, no distortion at high volumes (obviously reasonably high with some vibration in my glass tables in a 14x10 room)
beats are punchy, not muddy and very smooth and tight sounding.
I own a 2 bedroom apartment. This wasn't to blast the windows off, but I needed something that was small enough (why I got 8" not larger) that I could still hear clean, and punchy bass at low volumes. The driver in this unit performs clean and punchy bass even at the "midnight" setting which takes 80% of the power out of the sub, but it still performs where you can hear the bass and lower-end in even dialogue well
For less than $70, I'm seriously blown away by the price, value and performance of this little sub.

Fun game that does not follow the movie and that is a good thing!
I played this game originally on the first Xbox a few years ago and enjoyed it 'till the end. I found it doesn't follow the movie, and that's a good thing actually. The puzzles aren't so hard you can't figure them out, yet there's some challenge to the game. The voice-overs and animation are fairly good and are consistent with the game's content, and the game-play experience keeps you playing 'till the end. The controls and layout of the graphical user interfaces in the game are well-done, and simple enough for a beginner, yet functional enough for a pro gamer. This game was all-around fun with some good humor and "make you jump" moments if you're using headphones etc. It's not as dark as you may think, being a Disney-backed title, but it's a good g-rated "haunted house" experience.
