Very good nostalgic addition.

This grip is a "must" for the 9x18 Makarov
Replaced the original plastic grips years ago with larger rubber grip which suited my hand and trigger pull much better than original grip. My accuracy/grouping within 10 to 20 yards, using the rubber grip with my 1961 East German Makarov is very good; 2 to 4 inch groupings. When I saw the Fab Defense quick magazine release in ebay pictures, I was pessimistic of the plastic, but curious about the extended slide bite in the design. Found the extended slide bite provides improved control of my Makarov by allowing pressure from my lower thumb and lower index finger to provide more precise leverage control of my trigger pull and handling of recoil. The quick magazine release is awesome. GREAT DESIGN!.. Only issue I have is why I did not figure this out first. My accuracy/groupings are still 2 to 4 inches, but tighter around the 2 inch mark. This grip is a "must" for the 9x18 Makarov.
