Can't beat the cost for the value
If you work any live utility voltage, from service changes to commercial and industrial panelboards or switch gear, it's crazy not to have a couple pairs of hot gloves.
As a contractor I supply a hot work bag set to every service truck, and keep multiple new sets in the warehouse.
These are pretty big for the size listing, and I wish they had other fit sizes, but they work in a pinch. Due to the fit issue it's impossible to use for replacing buss fingers inside live multi-unit gear sections because you cant hold screws or washers, but you can still hold onto line feeders to reconnect a service and tighten a split-bolt and other non-technical live voltage work.
You can get two pairs of gloves for the cost of re-certifying an old set.
If you get a smaller pair of protectors the liners with fold up inside, but considering my first pair of hot gloves cost $400 these are not too bad. The gloves seem to be thicker than other brands with identical classification ratings, which is good if your working in a caustic or industrial environment, as the extra thickness would afford better protection against physical damage.
For under $20 these are perfect for putting in the bottom of your glove bag in case your primary set becomes damaged or unusable before the scheduled rotation or end of shift.
If you are a journeyman electrician, this small investment can be the difference between life or death.
Being type I you should leave sealed until use, and depending on air quality they may deteriorate sooner than type II.
Remember,check for holes before every use and only use any set for 6 months before retest or replacement.

Best Value for billet levers around.
Loved my ASV lever and special perch, until the "unbreakable" lever broke, even with bark busters and ended the day's competition.
These levers are within a 1/2 ounce same weight, and they fit on the factory perch, so no matter what, you have a better chance of finding an unplanned replacement.
At $20 a set you can get 7 pairs for the cost of one name brand replacement.
All I needed was the clutch, but it looked so good I replaced the brakes, and ordered another set for spares.

Great little magnifier.

A lot easier to use than variable magnification, and you can use in any ambient lighting condition.
As a mechanic, and home gardener, I've found tiny pin holes in carburetor diaphragms, and use it to check for unwanted critters on my vegetables or to verify excellent plant health.
