Rockford Fosgate R165-S 6.5" 2-Way PRIME Series Component Car Speaker System

Great speakers for a different purpose.

I've built a few bluetooth boomboxes so far. I've used Skar and Rockford 6.5" coaxial speakers. I tried a set of these Fosgate Prime speaker components and the sound quality is outstanding. Most of you will install these in car doors or rear deck and the sound will be different. I'm using these in a wood box (20" x 12" x 8") in size, sealed cabinet with polyfil stuffing. Everyone who has seen and heard this box is pretty impressed. I will buy another set especially if I can find an "open box" special where these were on display that were never installed. The key to speakers sounding good is to play them at medium volume for 20-30 hours to let the speakers break in before cranking them up.

Great battery

I've used Zerolemon for my other cell phones and this one like the others do not disappoint. This battery goes for 2-3 days until it drains completely. This Is the battery to have.

Focal RSE-165 Auditor Series 6.5" 2-Way Component Speakers

The speakers sound great

These speakers will sound good in your car but a subwoofer is recommended. I bought a set of these Focal speakers in my quest of making Bluetooth boomboxes. I have used several brands and these Focal speakers are probably some of the best mids and highs. It could use more bass. I know this isn't a good review since most of you will be using them in your cars. The mids and highs are outstanding. A small subwoofer will make you car sound very clean and balanced. I will probably add a subwoofer to my boombox to get the lows. ********I wanted to update this review. My old aging eyes got the best of me. I double checked and one of the wires was out of phase. These speakers sound great. These speakers produce a very nice bass tone. My boombox is now booming and it sounds great.******
