It scares the cat
First it was supplied with a battery. Second, it works all day long without a break. Finally, the replacement canisters are easy to get online.
If I were to have any criticism it would be about its strange strangled noise. It spooked the cat for a while, but she is more used to it now and is spending time looking for the interloper. I have one in two rooms and on different floors. The cat rushes from floor to floor to catch this strange animal. It has a cat-like sound, or a squeak like an old cupboard door opening. I am just getting used to it and stop thinking the cat has brought in yet another bit of hunted prey. In the form of a muted meow with a gob full of mouse. Very similar.

Feel the quality
I didn't expect this quality for the price. This lens has a substantial feel about it from the start. The heft means that it has good quality glass lenses. Picture quality is excellent with no discernible color fringing or aberration. If I wanted absolute perfection I would need to spend much more. I have also had a lot worse with a lens not much cheaper. This is great value for money.

Replacement Headlight Unit
I believe it is a false economy to replace a headlamp assembly with a salvage reclaimed service as much of the problems associated with the need to replace is age related plastic flexibility. The other factors are how carefully the unit is removed from a vehicle that may have had frontal damage and if lugs have been fractured or weakened at impact.
These units are new and come complete with the under-tray mount which so often is also broken or in a poor state.
Genuine replacement parts are very easy to fit and that can be a bonus. If it doesn't fit, then you know you have damaged bodywork and clumsy repair.
