Substantive read, excellent message.
Though "planning" might be a bit of an archaic business term, the ideas put forth in this book cut through the dusty terminology and truly resonate in today's world of competing philosophies. Though I found the first chapters to sometimes be too cynical and sarcastic, the author is clear in his purposes and brings the book together beautifully in a very constructive closing message.
I would like to find the time to read it again, I feel like I would get a lot more out of it now having the overall perspective.

Absolutely awesome outdoor adventure book.
Absolutely awesome book. Great stories about the Colorado River, the history of its dams, and both the people who support the dams and the people who fought/fight against them. I already bought multiple copies to give as gifts.
